DAMIEN FLEMING
Former Australian Test Cricketer & Commentator

Damien Fleming is a former Australian fast bowler who played 20 Tests and 88 One Day Iinternationals from 1994 to 2001. Famous for his swing bowling, he’s one of only three players to take a hat-trick on Test debut.
A World Cup hero, Fleming delivered in the tense final overs of the 1996 and 1999 semi-finals, helping Australia reach both finals. After retiring in 2003, he coached at the Australian Cricket Academy and developed his popular “Bowlology” theory.
Now a well-known commentator and entertainer, he’s worked with Channel 7, SEN, and Channel 10’s Big Bash coverage. His humour, cricket insight, and best-selling book Bowlology have made him a fan favourite on and off the field.
Lord Ian Botham is a former English cricketer, broadcaster, and philanthropist, widely regarded as one of the greatest all-rounders in the history of the game. He represented England in 102 Test matches and 116 One Day Internationals between 1977 and 1992, earning global fame for his dynamic performances with both bat and ball.
Best known for his role in the dramatic 1981 Ashes series—later dubbed “Botham’s Ashes”—he became a national sporting icon. After retiring from professional cricket, he built a successful career in media as a commentator and analyst.
Beyond sport, Botham has dedicated much of his life to charity, raising millions for leukemia research through his long-distance charity walks. In recognition of his contributions to sport and charity, he was knighted in 2007 and appointed a life peer in 2020, becoming Lord Botham of Ravensworth.
