about our event

In 2025, The Jodi Lee Foundation will host our annual International Women's Day Luncheon to honour the remarkable women who support our mission in the fight against bowel cancer. Our goal is for guests to leave feeling inspired by the powerful stories shared by extraordinary women.
We look forward to welcoming you on the day.

Lisa Curry AO

Lisa Curry AO is undoubtedly one of Australia's most popular personalities.

Triple Olympian, motivational speaker, best selling author, personal trainer, coach, board member, TV and radio presenter, product ambassador, defibrillator recipient, Mum and Grannie, is there anything Lisa Curry AO hasn't achieved?

Lisa's swimming ability was noticed at a young age and by 12, she was one of the fastest swimmers of her age in the world. An inductee of the Sport Australian Hall of Fame and recipient of the Medal of the Order of Australia in recognition of service to the sport of swimming. Lisa was then named as an Officer of the Order of Australia in 2008 for service to the community through encouraging national pride and identity.

Drawing on a lifetime of experiences, we look forward to her unique and powerful messages about overcoming obstacles, discipline, determination and getting the best out of people.

The event will be hosted by Jodi Lee Foundation Board Member, Anna Roussos and feature a panel session with Ambassadors, Kelly Golding and Sophie Edwards.

sophie edwards

JLF Ambassador

In June 2022, Sophie's life as she had known it changed with a bowel cancer diagnosis she had never considered.  As a very active, working single Mum of a seven year old, she could have never imagined the fight she was about to undertake.

Now in remission and a proud Ambassador for the Jodi Lee Foundation, Sophie is grateful for the opportunities to share her experiences, turning her fight into something that can help others.
