I’m taking part in The JLF Trek to raise awareness for the early detection and prevention of bowel cancer.
I'm participating in The JLF Trek SA and raising money for the prevention and early detection of bowel cancer, the second most common cause of cancer-related death in Australia.
This year marks 10 years since my Dad lost his battle with bowel cancer and shortly after that my younger brother was also diagnosed with bowel cancer, which he has thankfully been cancer free for more than 5 years! I think this is a good way to raise awareness of bowel cancer and to recognise their battles which have a very personal impact.
The Jodi Lee Foundation is a national bowel cancer prevention charity, reaching millions of Australians each year with their initiatives designed to help save lives.
