The JLF Trek & Trail Run SA 2026

I’m taking part in The JLF Trek & Trail Run to raise awareness for the early detection and prevention of bowel cancer.

This May will be my 8th JLF Trek SA, marking 8 years since I was diagnosed with stage 3 bowel cancer.

In May 2018, I heard the words no one ever expects to hear, “you have bowel cancer.” Eight years on, I feel incredibly grateful to still be here, and to be able to take part in this trek each year for a cause that means so much to me.

I support the Jodi Lee Foundation because it gives people hope. It raises awareness, encourages early detection, and helps share a message that can save lives. We need more people to know the signs, have the conversations, and act early, because when bowel cancer is detected early, treatment outcomes are so much better.

The JLF Trek is more than just a physical challenge. It is emotional, powerful, and deeply personal. Every step is taken alongside people with their own stories, their own reasons for showing up, and their own people they carry with them. There is something incredibly special about that shared sense of purpose and support.

If you are able to donate, thank you. Your support helps the Jodi Lee Foundation continue its vital work so that more lives can be saved through awareness and early detection.
