Doing it for Dad.
I'm participating in The JLF Trek SA and raising money for the prevention and early detection of bowel cancer, the second most common cause of cancer-related death in Australia.
The Jodi Lee Foundation is a national bowel cancer prevention charity, reaching millions of Australians each year with their initiatives designed to help save lives.
My beautiful Dad is now in his final stages of this awful disease and I have personally endured the cancer rollercoaster along with him. This year may be his final year with us, so this cause is particularly important to me as I'd like to help prevent other families from losing their loved ones and going through this heartache.

Update: Sadly, my Dad has now passed away from this dreadful disease, so now more than ever my passion for undertaking this trek and spreading awareness is even stronger.
