I’m taking part in The JLF Trek to raise awareness for the early detection and prevention of bowel cancer.
Having lost two very close friends to bowel cancer when they were in their 30’s, this is a foundation very close to my heart. I would love your support to reach my fundraising goal; any amount you can give is greatly appreciated.
Bowel Cancer is the second most common cause of cancer-related death in Australia. Over the last 20 years the incidence of bowel cancer has more than doubled in patients under the age of 40. Yet despite advances in treatment around 350 people under the age of 50 die from bowel cancer each year.
Early detection is a game changer for these patients and their families.
The Jodi Lee Foundation is a national bowel cancer prevention charity, reaching millions of Australians each year with their initiatives designed to help save lives.
