I’m taking part in The JLF Trek & Trail Run to raise awareness for the early detection and prevention of bowel cancer.
This isn’t my first trek… and it won’t be my last.
I’m about to take on this trek for the third time, and somehow it feels even more meaningful than the first.
My journey with this started back in 2023. I came back again in 2025… and now here I am, taking it on once more — stronger, more confident, and more determined than ever.
The first time, I honestly just hoped I’d make it to the finish. Now, I’m showing up with a whole new mindset.
This has become so much more than just a walk. It’s about pushing myself, showing my kids what resilience really looks like, and being part of something bigger than me.
Bowel cancer affects so many lives — and every step I take is for someone who is fighting, has fought, or who we’ve lost along the way.
If I can help raise awareness and funds, even in a small way, then every step is worth it.
If you’re able to support me — whether it’s a donation, a share, or simply cheering me on — it truly means more than you know 💜.

So proud of you Lois, raising money & awareness to fight bowel cancer. This is a cause so very close to my heart…as I lost my beautiful best friend Tracy, over a year ago, after her 14yr battle with this disease 💔

We go this! Wouldn't want to be doing the trek with any one else
