I’m taking part in The JLF Trek & Trail Run to raise awareness for the early detection and prevention of bowel cancer.

Hi everyone, yes I'm back participating in The JLF Trek after sadly being benched in 2025.   You probably already know, but, The JLF Trek SA raises money for the prevention and early detection of bowel cancer, the second most common cause of cancer-related death in Australia, particularly in our young people.  Bowel cancer is the deadliest cancer for Australians aged 25–54!  

Our beautiful, Luke, was diagnosed at 26 years of age.  It seems incomprehensible but unfortunately many more young people in their 20's are hearing those devastating words that can change their lives.

Early detection is critical. It is so import for young people to understand, recognise and have a high suspicion of red flag signs and symptoms!t
