I’m taking part in The JLF Trek for Emily ❤️ to raise awareness for the early detection and prevention of bowel cancer.

I'm participating in The JLF Trek SA in memory of Emily ❤️ and raising money for the prevention and early detection of bowel cancer, the second most common cause of cancer-related death in Australia.

The Jodi Lee Foundation is a national bowel cancer prevention charity, reaching millions of Australians each year with their initiatives designed to help save lives.

I will be walking the 24.5km trek on Saturday, 17 May for my friend Emily passed away in 2017 from bowel cancer at the age of 35, young mother of two. She told me "I'm so very passionate about making young people aware to look at signs, think about their bodies & don't be afraid to get further opinions, it could literally save lives!!". 

I have been wanting to participate in the JLF Trek from several years... and this year is finally the year!🙌  So I would absolutely love to surpass my fundraising target and blow it out the park for Emily and the JLF.
